WANA (Dec 24) – Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering support for the Resistance Front and the people of Yemen. Highlighting Yemenis’ unprecedented role in defending Palestine, he stated that they have played a significant part in this struggle through the use of indigenous missiles and defense systems, particularly since the onset of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation.

Araqchi emphasized that even under severe bombardment by the American-Israeli coalition, Yemenis have successfully targeted key positions in occupied territories. This, he noted, demonstrates their high defensive capabilities and determination to uphold the Palestinian cause. He added that despite economic hardships and ongoing military pressure, Yemen’s military strength allows them to confront their adversaries and advance the goals of the Resistance.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that, despite external pressures and obstacles, the Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently supported all members of the Resistance Axis, especially the people of Yemen, and will continue to do so. Araqchi also remarked that Yemenis, despite their dire circumstances, have proven their self-reliance, standing firm against external threats with resilience and determination.

Araqchi further underscored Yemen’s crucial role in supporting the Palestinian people, noting that their actions have exceeded the expectations of global analysts. He stated that Yemenis, through their unwavering support for Palestinian resistance groups such as Hamas, have shown that their resolve transcends borders and limitations, and nothing can hinder their commitment to this cause.

Speaking at a national conference for political advisors and officials of Iran’s Armed Forces, Araqchi also highlighted the unity and coherence within the Resistance Axis against external adversaries. He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a key force in this coalition, remains steadfast in its support for the Resistance Front worldwide and will never waver in its commitment to the causes of Palestine and Yemen.
